Overview

Practice law and have a life. It’s possible to do both. Our client acts as outside counsel to emerging companies in the life sciences and tech industries.

This is an opportunity to work with ex Big Law-trained attorneys and receive general counsel training in a boutique environment. Position yourself for a long career with a firm that values work-life balance with a 1500 billable benchmark (bonus eligible at 1300).

• Review, edit and draft contracts and related documents for corporate transactions, including formations, early-stage equity financing, credit finance and mergers and acquisitions.
• Advise on corporate governance matters; prepare board and stockholder consents, take minutes, prepare certificates.
• Conduct contract negotiations with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with clients and subject matter experts to ensure that corporate agreements are aligned with business objectives and satisfy compliance

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a top tier school.
• Admission to the Colorado bar (or willingness to become admitted).
• Ability to handle a fast-paced, constantly changing environment with flexibility and a sense of humor.

A good faith estimate of the compensation range for candidates with the posted years of experience is $160,000 – $180,000 annual salary based on experience.*

Generous benefits including profit sharing, 4% 401k match, fully funded employee healthcare plan (no out of pocket costs) and a 2 month paid sabbatical after 7 years of continuous employment.

* Bonus eligibility begins at 1,300 billable hours with significant business development bonus opportunities for client generation, so potential for all-in comp. to be significantly higher than base salary.
