Responsibilities- Managing a large and growing legal staff in the creditor's right and related areas of law.
- Applying a strong understanding of applicable legal policies as well as federal and state regulatory issues.
- Communicating with clients regarding current legal and regulatory issues and performance.
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal laws, and adherence to court procedures and processes.
- Working on special projects as required by the firm and clients.
- Licensed to practice in Colorado
- Complete knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Advanced knowledge of principles, practices and methods of creditor's rights and the legal process
- Strong knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework affecting the debt buying and debt collection industries including FDCPA, FCRA, GLBA and related state statutes.
- Technologically adept, with familiarity with software including Cogent or similar systems a plus.
- Ability to handle a high caseload effectively
- Strong critical thinking and strategic skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with a team of attorneys and staff to develop strategies for a case
- Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize, and work in a rapidly changing environment.
- Limited travel for court appearances and industry meetings

This full-time position typically works Monday - Friday. Saturdays are dependent if that last day of the month falls on a weekend or a Saturday.
