Position: Attorney With 24 Years Experience

Overview

Higgins, Hopkins, McLain & Roswell, LLC is a busy Denver firm specializing in construction litigation. We are looking for attorneys, preferably with litigation experience, to join our team. This is an opportunity to gain significant litigation experience and learn from experienced lawyers in a congenial team-oriented environment. We devote significant time to educational and mentoring programs for young associates.

  • Compensation: $110,000+ annually depending on experience

Responsibilities
  • Litigating construction defect and/or general liability cases
  • Immediate hands-on experience with depositions, motions, mediation, trial preparation, etc.
  • Active involvement in case handling strategy
  • Mentorship and training is available, as needed
  • Direct communication with clients and their insurers
Qualifications
  • Must possess a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and hold a valid license to practice law in Colorado
  • Preferably a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a civil litigation law firm
  • While experience in construction defect law is preferred, it is not mandatory. A sincere interest in learning and practicing construction-related law is necessary
  • Proficiency in online research software
  • Must be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills
