What You'll Do- Handle all aspects of franchise compliance, including preparing disclosure documents, registrations, renewals, and supplemental filings
- Coordinate state filings and maintain accurate records of fees, deadlines, and updates
- Draft and revise franchise agreements and related documents with attention to detail
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients during registration and renewal processes
- Track trademark status and assist attorneys with various transactional agreements
- Maintain and enhance a database of templates and clauses for efficient document preparation
- Conduct research, analyze data, and summarize findings to support client needs
- Manage multiple projects independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards
- Accurately record billable time and maintain clear documentation of work performed
- Paralegal Certificate or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in franchise law
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a deadline‑driven environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with legal document management systems
- Comfortable working with state‑specific franchise portals and NASAA's EFD system
Salary
: $90-$115k/yr.
