- Handle Colorado and California employment litigation matters from start to finish
- Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery, and initial filings
- Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations
- Draft and argue motions in state and federal court
- Advise clients on compliance with state and federal employment laws
- Draft and revise employee handbooks, policies, and related materials
- Support client training initiatives and employment-related guidance
- Work with multiple partners across a variety of employment matters through the firm’s case assignment system
- 3 - 6 years of employment litigation experience
- Active bar admission in both California and Colorado
- Experience handling employment law matters; wage & hour exposure is a plus
- Strong drafting, analytical, and legal research skills
- Comfortable managing discovery, depositions, and motion practice
- Excellent academic credentials and writing ability
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter who proactively seeks work and collaborates effectively with colleagues
