Position OverviewThe Legal Administrative Assistant plays a critical role in supporting our litigation team from case inception through trial. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of court procedures, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence and precision.
Key Responsibilities- Manage attorney calendars and litigation deadlines
- Draft, edit, proofread, and transcribe legal documents and pleadings
- Electronically file documents with CCEF, Denver County Court, Federal Courts, and Bankruptcy Courts
- Prepare and coordinate mailings and Fed Ex shipments
- Maintain and update client and case lists
- Assist with eviction matters and related filings
- Prepare pleading, exhibit, and discovery indexes
- Support document productions and discovery management
- Assemble trial, hearing, and mediation notebooks
- Communicate with court clerks, transcriptionists, and outside legal professionals
- Organize and maintain document databases for discovery and disclosure (Logikcull, Dropbox, etc.)
- Minimum of 3 years of litigation support experience (required)
- Strong computer, word processing, and proofreading skills
- Working knowledge of Colorado state and federal court rules and procedures
- Proven experience preparing and e-filing litigation documents
- Trial preparation experience, including exhibit and trial notebooks
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a high-volume environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to support multiple attorneys
