As Paralegal
, you will apply your skills to assist Xcimer employees and the legal department across many legal domains. We are looking for all our employees to apply their technical expertise, problem solving skills, and dedication to quality to positively impact the future of energy!
- Become a trusted partner by supporting and collaborating with various internal groups and departments to accomplish Xcimer’s near and long-term milestones and objectives
- Coordinate the flow of information among members of the legal department and other internal and external stakeholders
- Provide support across continuously varying company projects and legal matters, ensuring deliverables are on time and consistently of high quality
- Assist with review, drafting, and negotiation of various agreements and corporate documents
- Set up and manage file and document repositories, including calendars, data rooms, task lists, and compliance logs, ensuring information is organized, accessible, and current
- Manage standard document templates and workflows, including document collection, organization, execution, and version control
- Escalate issues and identify opportunities for and drive process improvements
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks to deadlines
- Adapt to evolving internal schedules and changes
- Associate degree in paralegal studies or a related field;
Bachelor’s degree preferred - 5+ years of relevant experience working in a law firm and/or a corporate legal department
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility and affinity for collaborative assignments
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment while managing concurrent deadlines
- Ability to communicate clearly (verbally and in writing) and effectively across all company levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, SharePoint and Power Point, as well as Zoom, Slack, and Box applications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
- Certification from an ABA approved paralegal studies program or an accredited institution
- Experience supporting a legal department and corporate teams operating across different locations and time zones
- Experience negotiating and managing various confidentiality/non-disclosure agreements
- Experience supporting multiple attorneys with different specializations and responsibilities
