- Litigation Support and Case Management: support the Litigation Team by maintaining client files; proactive scheduling and deadline management; drafting pleadings, motions, affidavits, and other legal documents; trial preparation; organizing and reviewing exhibits and court filings for county court and district court cases, appellate court and/or federal courts; and other duties as needed.
- This is a perfect role for an established paralegal who would like to learn a rewarding but specialized area of practice that also supports the community.
- 3+ years of litigation experience, HOA or real estate experience a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication, including a working knowledge of legal terminology
- Ability to work independently and advanced organizational, time-management, and decision-making abilities that demonstrate an ability to prioritize work under deadlines/time constraints, shifting priorities, and multiple tasks
- Outstanding work ethic with a commitment to producing quality work
- Professional demeanor and ability to establish effective working relationships with clients, their representatives, and with legal/court personnel
- Strong computer skills, use of digital platforms, and experience with technology and legal research tools
- TABS 3/Practice Master, or other billing and case management software experience preferred but not required
- Familiarity with Colorado Courts E-Filing System (ICCES) and U.S. District Court Electronic Case Filing System (CM/ECF)
$65,000 - $90,000 per year
