Paralegal – Workers’ Compensation

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our expanding Workers’ Compensation practice. This busy position will support several attorneys and requires efficient management of a heavy caseload.

• 3 to 5 years of workers’ compensation experience, preferably with a defense firm.
• Knowledge of Colorado Workers’ Compensation regulations and laws.
• Proficiency in DOWC and OAC rules and procedures.
• Obtain, review, and analyze medical, financial, tax, and employment records; prepare medical record summaries.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, and routine correspondence.
• Highly experienced in docketing and maintaining calendaring systems.
• Maintain hard and soft filing systems.
• Well-developed writing and research skills.
• Experience in billing time.
• Ability to stay focused on numerous details while maintaining high accuracy.
• Anticipate attorneys’ needs, identify problems, and find solutions.
• Work with limited supervision.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree (preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. when necessary.
• ABA Paralegal Certificate (required).

Range: $55,000 – $93,400 annually.
