A top tier AmLaw firm is strategically expanding its elite Denver Corporate/M&A practice— a fully self-sustaining team that closed over 100 transactions worth more than $50 billion in a single year.

This isn't a satellite office doing overflow work for coastal deals. This is a nationally recognized M&A practice that happens to be based in Denver—handling sophisticated transactions for marquee clients nationwide.

• Run deal processes from signing to closing
  —you'll be the primary associate, not support staff
• Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, and transaction documents (not just review them)
• Work directly with clients (strategic buyers, sellers, and PE sponsors) on live transactions—actual client calls, not filtered through three layers
• Supervise junior associates and coordinate with subject matter specialists across practices
• Handle both buy side and sell-side M&A transactions across industries
• Lead complex joint ventures, VC financings, and minority investment deals
• Get intensive training and mentorship from partners who actually invest in your development
• Build lasting client relationships in a team based (not sweatshop) culture

• 4-8 years of high volume M&A experience at a sophisticated law firm
• Proven experience on both buy-side and sell-side transactions
• Experience representing both strategic clients and financial sponsors (not just one side)
• Strong drafting skills (you've negotiated PSAs, not just ancillary docs)
• Excellent communication skills and comfort with direct client interaction
• Ability to supervise associates and manage deal teams effectively
• Strong academic credentials
• Experience with JVs, VC deals, and minority investments is a major plus
• Colorado bar admission (or ability to waive in)
