Campos Law Firm is seeking a highly qualified criminal lawyer with experience in legal representation and defense. We are looking for a professional with strategic legal skills, strong communication skills, and experience in litigation procedures to strengthen our team in representing clients in various cases.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Develop effective legal strategies for case defense.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and essential legal documents.
• Advise clients on legal processes and expectations.
• Collaborate with the internal legal team to optimize processes.
• Stay up to date on legal developments and precedents.
• Maintain organized case files and communicate effectively with clients, including Spanish-speaking clients.

Requirements:

• Admission to the Colorado state bar and active legal license.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of litigation experience.
• Excellent oral and written advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management platforms.
• Colorado BAR (required).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a public defender or in a government prosecutor’s office (highly valued but not required).
• Fluency in English and Spanish (highly valued but not required).
• Strong knowledge of criminal defense.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive salary based on experience: $110,000 - $125,000 per year.
