Commercial Lines Team Leader – USI Kibble & Prentice

Salary Range: $125,000 – $155,000

Bonus-eligible position with a target incentive of 10%

• Full‑cycle management and development of two or more team members.
• Provide strong insurance technical expertise to clients and members of the Account Management and Sales Executive team.
• Act as the Account Management team escalation point for complex client issues.
• Lead regular team meetings with Account Management and Sales Executive staff.
• Partner with the Commercial Lines Manager to support company operational objectives.
• Respond to client requests for information, documents, and general insurance inquiries. Handle all aspects of Commercial Lines Property & Casualty Insurance. Occasional outside service visits to the client may be required.
• Manage team quality control of client renewals, ensure adherence to service standards and perform periodic quality audits.
• Direct team support work to Account Representative team members.
• When directly managing clients, provide proactive, personalized support to assigned accounts, including marketing and placement of renewals; negotiating with carriers on behalf of clients; processing policies, endorsements and audits as needed; representing client interests in internal strategy meetings; maintaining high accuracy in agency management systems; responding to underwriters’ questions in a timely manner.

• 5+ years’ experience in a Commercial Lines agency.
• College degree preferred.
• Prior managerial experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance.
• Must hold or be willing to earn a Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Industry designations such as ARM, CIC, CPCU preferred.
• Comfortable with internet‑based programs and Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of Sagitta/Image Right preferred.
• Able to work in a fast‑paced, team environment with minimal instruction.
• Able to carry out complex tasks with many concrete and abstract variables.
