Senior QA Engineer The Role
We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead testing strategy and governance across various initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong consulting experience, healthcare domain knowledge, and the ability to partner closely with clients and delivery teams to ensure high-quality outcomes across complex platforms.
Work You'll Do- Lead end-to-end testing strategy, governance, and execution across multiple active projects
- Define and implement test plans, test cases, and testing frameworks to support complex healthcare systems
- Provide hands‑on testing support including functional, integration, regression, and UAT validation as needed
- Serve as a client‑facing QA lead, partnering with stakeholders to translate business and regulatory requirements into effective testing approaches
- Establish testing best practices, standards, and governance models across projects
- Identify, document, and track defects while collaborating closely with development teams to drive resolution
- Support test data management and coordination across environments
- Ensure compliance with healthcare and Medicaid related requirements

Requirements- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of QA and testing experience, including senior‑level ownership of testing efforts
- Experience with QA and delivery tools such as Jira and Azure Dev Ops
- Proven experience leading testing strategy and governance while remaining hands‑on when required
- Strong consulting and client‑facing experience
- Healthcare experience required, including familiarity with claims or eligibility systems
- Experience with healthcare platforms such as Pega, Facets, QNXT, or similar payer systems
- Strong SQL skills to perform backend data validation and support functional, integration, and UAT testing
- Experience with test data management practices
- Willingness to engage in direct client interaction, including travel to client locations
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
- Exposure to test automation strategy or tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Tosca)
- Based in Chicago, IL, and flexible to work from our Chicago office as needed

The estimated base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $145,000. In addition to this base salary, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. This range is a part of a competitive, total compensation package together with our majority employer‑paid benefits, and incentive pay for eligible roles. Please note that this range is a guideline and individual total compensation may vary due to numerous factors including but not limited to experience level, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.
