Role: Solution Engineer
Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid – 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
Compensation: $90,000 – $130,000 OTE
Aim Hire is partnering with a high-growth, SaaS company in Denver seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their collaborative team. Our client is seeking a motivated and customer-facing Solution Engineer to partner closely with Sales in driving complex mid-market and enterprise deals. This role is highly visible within the revenue organization and plays a critical part in the technical win, from discovery through solution design, product demonstrations, and handoff to delivery.
You’ll act as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, translating business challenges into tailored technical solutions while helping accelerate deal velocity and increase overall contract value.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver compelling, customized product demonstrations aligned to prospect use cases
- Partner with Account Executives to strategize, prioritize, and advance opportunities
- Lead technical discovery, requirements gathering, and solution mapping for new customers
- Communicate value clearly to both technical stakeholders and executive leadership
- Support the completion of proposals, security reviews, and technical validations throughout the sales cycle
- Maintain accurate opportunity and activity updates within Salesforce
- Provide market and customer feedback to Product and other internal teams
- Collaborate across global teams and support multiple time zones as needed
- Serve as a strategic advisor on best practices for cloud, infrastructure, and software adoption
- Participate in occasional travel for customer engagements and internal events
- 3+ years of experience in a pre-sales / sales engineering capacity supporting technical SaaS or platform-based solutions
- Experience with virtual environments, cloud infrastructure, VMs, VMware, or similar technologies
- Demonstrated success supporting quota-carrying sales teams in mid-market and enterprise sales cycles
- Proven ability to influence deal outcomes, grow deal size, and shorten sales cycles
- Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within Salesforce or a comparable CRM
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
