Overview:The Lab Services organization is building a newly structured Enterprise Applications Team responsible for supporting, maintaining, and modernizing the suite of applications used across the CTEC Lab. This team ensures critical lab tools align with production environments, remain fully functional, and are continuously improved through upgrades, enhancements, and new vendor integrations.
This individual will serve as Application Owner within the Enterprise Applications catalog, with immediate focus on Infoblox and Cisco ISE—two tools currently lacking dedicated coverage on the team.
Responsibilities:- Act as application owner for assigned enterprise tools, including:

- Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
- Perform ongoing application lifecycle tasks:
- Patching, updates, and version alignment with Production
- Infrastructure validation across compute, storage, networking
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
- Maintain underlying server and VM infrastructure (primarily Linux) supporting assigned applications.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify tools used in production that must be onboarded into the lab environment.
- Partner with vendors for onboarding, licensing, upgrades, security, and compliance support.
- Contribute to growth of the Enterprise Applications catalog as new tools are adopted.
- Work within an Agile/Scrum environment:
- 70% project/sprint-based work
- 30% support or bug ticket remediation
- Participate in sprint planning and resolve Jira tickets related to application issues, enhancements, and operational requests.
- Rotate through ownership of additional enterprise applications to avoid single-owner silos.
You won’t need expertise in all of these on day one—team members rotate and grow skills over time:
- Infoblox, IPControl – IP address management
- Cisco ISE – Identity services
- Active Directory / LDAP
- Centrify – Privileged access management
- RD Web – Windows jump server environment
- Netbox – Inventory management
- Access Towel – Access to CP devices

Skills:
- 2–3 years Infoblox experience (minimum)
- 2–3 years Cisco ISE experience
- 3–4+ years Linux system administration
- Strong understanding of OS-level troubleshooting and optimization
- Experience with patching, storage, networking basics, and server configuration
- Experience supporting applications in an enterprise or lab setting
- Ability to work across multiple tools and gradually expand into new applications
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skill
- Values someone with curiosity, willingness to learn, and a collaborative mindset
You will join a growing enterprise applications team of 7 engineers with diverse skill sets including Enterprise application specialists, Linux/Windows system administrators, Networking engineers, Data and AI engineers and Tool catalog and data accuracy owners
