Role:
Health Share Operations Engineer

• Incident and problem management, coordinate resolution of service disruptions
• Provide training and guidance related to emerging technologies within Inter Systems technologies
• Coordinate and facilitate code deployments and configuration adjustments to the HIE Health Share environments
• Work with development team to ensure application requirements are understood and translated to support and operations teams
• Review aspects of the HIE environments by analysing requirements and ensuring that systems will offer security, availability and will be effectively integrated with current applications
• Properly tune and design OS releases and patching to meet application requirements
• Reviews new and existing projects, system designs and plans while conducting research on emerging technologies to support changes in infrastructures
• Consult with the technical leads of various project initiatives to identify integration requirements and priorities, oversee and ensure quality and operational standards
• Creates professional documentation and technical diagrams

The Senior Health Share Operations Engineer is responsible for supporting and maintaining the Intersystem Health Share Information Exchange. A successful Senior Health Share Operations Engineer ensures that the developed services are interacting and communicating between interacting software applications as designed.

Our platform drives personalized healthcare experiences across communication channels. A successful Health Share Engineer combines deep technical knowledge with leadership and coordination skills to ensure the operational success of large, complex projects.

This person works closely with our Health Share development teams, QA teams, business relationship management, and the IT infrastructure groups to ensure a stable, reliable, performant HIE platform.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline

4+ years’ experience with Intersystem Health Share application that integrates with numerous outside healthcare partners.
