IT Project Manager, Cloud Computing, Data Engineer
We are seeking a senior-level Technical Project Manager to lead delivery of an enterprise Azure-based data and integration platform supporting digital infrastructure operations.
About the RoleThis role will oversee the end-to-end execution of a modern cloud architecture that includes Azure API Management (APIM), Service Bus messaging, Azure Data Factory pipelines, Databricks Lakehouse transformations, and Power BI analytics delivery. This is not a generic IT project management role. It requires hands‑on experience managing cloud platform implementations, coordinating engineering teams across integration and data domains, and driving disciplined Dev/Test/Prod release governance.
The ideal candidate understands how APIs, messaging systems, data pipelines, and analytics layers interconnect — and can manage risk, sequencing, and delivery accordingly.
- Platform Delivery Leadership
- Lead delivery of Azure-based integration and data platform initiatives from planning through production stabilization.
- Coordinate cross‑functional engineering teams spanning API integration, data engineering, analytics, security, and infrastructure.
- Ensure architectural dependencies are sequenced correctly across integration, ingestion, transformation, and reporting layers.
- Build and maintain detailed delivery roadmaps aligned to architecture milestones.
- Own RAID management (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) specific to cloud platform deployments.
- Establish governance rhythms for sprint execution, release readiness, and environment promotion.
- Oversee Dev/Test/Prod environment coordination across APIM, ADF, Databricks, and Power BI assets.
- Partner with architects to ensure scope reflects technical constraints and infrastructure realities.
- Manage API and messaging rollout timelines, including backend system onboarding.
- Coordinate data pipeline releases and analytics deployment sequencing.
- Ensure production readiness criteria are defined and met before go‑live.
- Interface with executive stakeholders to communicate delivery status, risks, and business impact.
- Translate technical progress into business value narratives.
- Facilitate decision‑making across engineering and operational leaders.
- Anticipate integration bottlenecks, data quality risks, and deployment conflicts.
- Enforce structured change management and rollback strategies.
- Ensure platform reliability and production stability during releases.
- 8+ years of project or program management experience in cloud or enterprise technology environments.
- Proven experience managing Azure-based data platform or integration programs.
- Familiarity with Azure services including APIM, Service Bus, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Power BI.
- Experience coordinating Dev Ops processes, CI/CD workflows, and environment promotion strategies.
- Strong understanding of API integration patterns and data pipeline life cycles.
- Experience managing cross‑functional technical teams in distributed environments.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Availability during MST working hours.
- Experience in digital infrastructure or data center environments.
- Background in enterprise cloud migration or platform modernization initiatives.
- PMP or similar certification (preferred but not required).
- Experience managing vendors or external engineering partners.
This position leads execution of a strategic Azure-based data and integration platform that enables analytics, operational visibility, and scalable digital infrastructure growth.
Equal Opportunity StatementSuccess in this role means more than delivering timelines. It means orchestrating a complex cloud ecosystem with discipline, foresight, and technical fluency — ensuring that APIs, data pipelines, and analytics layers operate as a cohesive, production‑ready platform.
