Seeking a senior Data Architect with strong AI/ML enablement experience to design and build cloud-native, scalable data platforms using Databricks and modern data engineering tools.
Key Requirements
- 12+ years in data engineering/architecture with AI/ML integration
- Strong hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Databricks (Azure/AWS), Delta Lake
- AI/ML pipeline integration using MLflow, MLOps, and model deployment strategies
- Expertise in Apache Airflow, Databricks Jobs, and orchestration frameworks
- Experience with Kafka, structured streaming, and real-time analytics
- Deep understanding of Lakehouse architecture, data modeling, Unity Catalog, lineage
- Proven ability to design and implement cloud-native data architectures
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
- Databricks Data Engineering Professional certification
- Migration experience from on-prem to Databricks/cloud platforms
- Performance tuning, CI/CD, IaC (Terraform/ARM), and Dev Ops practices
- Experience with Feature Stores, model monitoring, and production MLOps
- Exposure to LLM/GenAI, vector databases, embeddings, and Databricks GenAI enablement
