Job purpose

The Part‑Time Temp Tessitura Application Administrator is responsible for efficient and effective configuration, maintenance and support of major DCPA systems, including but not limited to the ticketing system/CRM, event management system, maintenance operations system, and organizational asset‑management systems. Responsibilities include configuring, building and testing events, classes, forms, modules, etc., reporting and front‑line support. The Part‑Time Temp Tessitura Application Administrator serves as a primary technical resource for major systems within the DCPA.

The ideal candidate must have experience working with diverse business partners and technologies, and the ability to manage concurrent application configuration efforts. The Part‑Time Temp Tessitura Application Administrator works under the direction of the Manager, IT – Data and Applications and the guidance of the Application Management team.

Duties and responsibilities

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Configure, administer, and maintain internal and external business systems to include service account administration, application maintenance, user management, and troubleshooting reported issues
  • Test, analyze, and maintain business applications in support of DCPA’s business objectives
  • Build and maintain events, classes, and subscription packages that may arise within the duration of the role
  • Configure, update and manage changes to pricing, inventory, venues and other relevant modules in business systems
  • Monitor and track application/service/software maintenance
  • Test new software releases and application system upgrades
  • Advise other departments on the capabilities and use of business systems as needed
  • Troubleshoot system and application related issues and functions, making recommendations for process fixes and enhancements including submitting, tracking, and prioritizing support cases with system providers
  • Develop and maintain documentation of processes and procedures relating to DCPA business applications
  • Assist and train DCPA end‑users on available reporting tools
  • Be available for scheduled on‑call rotation including night and weekend work as needed
Qualifications

Must be detail oriented, with strong multi‑tasking and troubleshooting abilities. Excellent communication, self‑management, quality assurance and organizational skills.

Qualifications include:

  • 2+ years of experience working with an enterprise database system such as CRM, ticketing platform and/or event management systems. Experience with the Tessitura ticketing platform strongly desired
