Job Title: SQL Developer in Data Management (DaVita IKC)

Overview: The role of SQL Developer in Data Management involves preparation and organization of data obtained from external sources, primarily medical claims, RX claims, membership, and supporting data. As a SQL Developer, you will develop database processes that feed objects and tables queried daily by stakeholders, perform thorough database analysis for standardization, assess upstream/downstream impacts, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance data quality and structure.

You will manage individual work streams, self‑motivate, and continue to upskill within the dynamic field of data management.

• Create and maintain SQL code to move and transform data
• Coordinate with stakeholders to clarify business logic and use case
• Follow SDLC best practices and perform peer reviews
• Read and create documentation
• Troubleshoot and fix automation issues
• Participate in special projects outside of the day‑to‑day scope
• Able to upskill independently
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to: attend team meetings (video on), training, follow teammate guidelines, employment policies and company procedures
• Travel up to 5% of the time

• Beginner to intermediate SQL knowledge required
• Bachelor’s degree
• Desire to learn best practices for data infrastructure organization
• 1+ year of experience working with SQL preferred

• Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
• Advanced critical thinking, strong work ethic, creative mindset, adept communication skills, attention to detail, comfort with ambiguity, efficient time management, technical aptitude, and business acumen
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Experience with Python, DDL and PL/SQL a plus
