Sr. Network Engineer

• Understand and assist with implementing the network infrastructure solutions designed by the Architects and Senior Consultants

• Provide onsite and ongoing technical service and support during and after project rollout

• Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve escalations

• Support existing and new deployments

• Demonstrate strong support and customer service orientation

• Deliver technology solutions for clients on time and on budget

• Gain in-depth understanding of client's business processes, gather data requirements, and work with the Senior Consultants and Architects to develop technology solution to solve the business issues

• Develop, maintain, document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities

• Look for opportunities to improve the client’s productivity and efficiencies through technology

• Ask questions and seek to develop a deeper understanding of the client’s business and how IT can be used to assist the achievement their business strategy and goals

• Perform other duties as assigned

Job

Requirements & Qualifications:

Knowledge of Cisco router/switches and implementations

Active CCNA and or CCNP

Knowledge of routers, gateways, switches, and Wan protocols

Ability to travel, have routine multi-day onsite assignments and work long hours when needed

Experience with alternative firewall solutions such as SonicWALL

Working knowledge of Cisco wireless: autonomous and lightweight Access points, Wireless LAN Controllers

Experience with:
Checkpoint firewalls, Nexus, Juniper routers / Switches

Cisco Call Manager

Minimum 5 years of consulting/industry experience

Healthcare industry experience

Minimum 5 years of consulting/industry experience

Bachelors degree in related field
