Senior Data Engineer; Denver

Requirements

• 8+ years experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Amazon Quick Sight).
• 8+ years in data engineering (ETL, data transformation, automation).
• Strong background in AWS services and console navigation.
• Python and Terraform for automation.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret AWS billing and usage data.

• Analyze AWS spend data to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Work with AWS Cost Intelligence Dashboards to customize and extend their functionality.
• Interpret AWS billing and usage reports to provide actionable insights.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance BI dashboards in Amazon Quick Sight (and potentially Power BI, Tableau).
• Generate reports and data visualizations to support Fin Ops decision‑making.
• Work with AWS services to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data.
• Use Python and Terraform to automate data pipelines, infrastructure, and reporting processes.

• Navigate AWS environments and services effectively.
• Leverage AWS tools for data ingestion, storage, and analysis.
• Work closely with Fin Ops teams, finance stakeholders, and cloud engineering teams.
• Communicate insights and recommendations to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Report directly to leadership and contribute to team growth and best practices.

Hourly Rate Range - $40-$60/ hr
