QA Engineer

Overview

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of an inference engine. This role focuses on validating software against specifications, ensuring workflows and user experiences are intuitive and effective, and supporting high-quality product releases.

• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases across complex systems
• Document test execution, progress, and results clearly and accurately
• Create and maintain test cases, test procedures, and test data sets
• Identify, document, track, and verify the resolution of software defects
• Perform risk analysis and document findings to support release readiness
• Review user interfaces to ensure consistency, usability, and functionality
• Contribute to and help refine QA standards, processes, and best practices
• Continuously improve and streamline testing processes through innovation
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support successful product delivery

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

• 4+ years of experience in a QA testing role
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience using JIRA and test management tools
• Familiarity with Agile software development practices
• Working knowledge of testing methodologies
• Basic knowledge of SQL and API testing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities with attention to detail
• Proven troubleshooting skills and a strong quality-focused mindset
• Collaborative team player who values shared goals and outcomes
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to present findings clearly and professionally to stakeholders at all levels
