Hiring: W2 Candidates Only

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations for business stakeholders.
  • Connect to multiple data sources, including SQL databases, Excel, cloud platforms, and APIs.
  • Transform and model data to create efficient and optimized datasets for reporting.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
  • Perform data validation, quality checks, and troubleshooting to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance, scalability, and usability.
  • Implement row-level security, access controls, and governance policies for data.
  • Document dashboards, data sources, and calculations for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay updated with Power BI features, best practices, and business intelligence trends.
  • Provide training and guidance to business users on leveraging Power BI reports effectively.
  • Participate in agile development processes, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor junior BI developers and contribute to standardizing BI practices across teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Power BI development, reporting, and analytics.
  • Strong experience with DAX, Power Query, and data modeling concepts.
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
  • Understanding of business intelligence, analytics, and data visualization best practices.
Preferred Skills / Duties
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, or other cloud data platforms.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehouse concepts.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Tableau, Qlik, or other BI tools is a plus.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective, actionable reports.
  • Experience in agile or collaborative development environments
