Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations for business stakeholders.
- Connect to multiple data sources, including SQL databases, Excel, cloud platforms, and APIs.
- Transform and model data to create efficient and optimized datasets for reporting.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
- Perform data validation, quality checks, and troubleshooting to ensure accurate reporting.
- Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance, scalability, and usability.
- Implement row-level security, access controls, and governance policies for data.
- Document dashboards, data sources, and calculations for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated with Power BI features, best practices, and business intelligence trends.
- Provide training and guidance to business users on leveraging Power BI reports effectively.
- Participate in agile development processes, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior BI developers and contribute to standardizing BI practices across teams.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Power BI development, reporting, and analytics.
- Strong experience with DAX, Power Query, and data modeling concepts.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
- Understanding of business intelligence, analytics, and data visualization best practices.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or other cloud data platforms.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehouse concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Tableau, Qlik, or other BI tools is a plus.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective, actionable reports.
- Experience in agile or collaborative development environments
