OT Desktop Engineer

Compensation: $28-40/hr

Position: OT Desktop Engineer

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled OT Desktop Engineer to join their team!

This role will support a Windows 11 rollout within an OT environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in application packaging, desktop imaging, and hardware refresh projects. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a large-scale deployment, ensuring a smooth transition to Windows 11 and optimizing the end-user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy Windows 11 laptops, including imaging, application setup, and hardware shipping.
• Package and deploy applications for Windows 11 compatibility.
• Provide hypercare support post-deployment, troubleshooting issues remotely.
• Collaborate with IT teams to refine deployment processes.
• Utilize SCCM for deployment and desktop management.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Strong desktop engineering background with Windows 10/11 deployment experience.
• Expertise in application packaging and software distribution.
• Experience with desktop imaging technologies (MDT, SCCM, Intune).
• Proven ability to manage large-scale hardware refresh projects.
• Power Shell scripting knowledge.
• Excellent troubleshooting and end-user support skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience in an Operational Technology (OT) environment.
• Familiarity with ITIL best practices and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
