Solutions Consultant
Aim Hire is partnering with a fast-growing SaaS company to hire a solutions consultant to support their expanding sales team. This organization provides a powerful cloud-based platform that helps professional services businesses streamline operations, gain real-time visibility into projects and financials, and significantly improve profitability by reducing operational chaos. Their AI powered solution unifies project management, resource planning and financials into a single scalable platform.
Base salary: $75,000–$90,000 + 10% bonus
This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Product, Marketing, and Implementation. As a solutions consultant, you will connect deep product knowledge to real‑world customer challenges, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the pre‑sales process. You’re someone who loves understanding how businesses work, uncovering inefficiencies, and showing customers how technology and automation can fundamentally improve their operations.
Responsibilities:
- Evangelize the platform through compelling sales demos, presentations, and technical discovery calls
- Partner closely with Account Executives to understand prospect challenges and map solutions that drive value
- Educate prospects on the cost of inaction and the business impact of adopting a modern PSA solution
- Identify functionality gaps, design thoughtful solutions, and clearly articulate how the platform supports business growth
- Configure proofs of concept (POCs) using prospect data when needed
- Help drive deals to close through strong pre‑sales ownership and collaboration with AEs
- Share best practices and industry insights to demonstrate how peer organizations succeed on the platform
- Synthesize customer feedback and patterns, sharing insights with Product and internal teams
- Lead RFI/RFP responses from a product, solution, and technical standpoint
- Support internal enablement through product knowledge sessions and sales training
- Identify sales training opportunities and deliver targeted sessions as requested by leadership
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in pre‑sales, solutions consulting, or full‑cycle SaaS sales
- Strong knowledge of project management and/or CRM concepts, tools, and best practices
- Ability to simplify complex concepts through storytelling, visuals, and live software demos
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- Strong discovery and active listening skills – you can read between the lines and uncover true client motivations
- Comfortable thinking on your feet and solving problems in real time
- Highly collaborative and team‑oriented across departments
- Solid understanding of SaaS ecosystems and tech stacks
- Experience mapping workflows, business logic, and automation concepts
- Passion for cloud‑based solutions and continuous learning in fast‑paced environments
- $75,000–$90,000 base salary + commission, based on experience
