Learning Management System's Lead Administrator – ADMINISTRATOR IV.
This position is a Staff Authority for CDHS’s Learning Management System (LMS). It manages and evaluates the effectiveness of the LMS, provides technical expertise, and continually improves LMS processes based on best practices. The role manages mandatory training, coordinates with other agencies for timely delivery, assesses training needs, monitors audits, designs curriculum based on adult learning theories, coordinates service logistics, and delivers and evaluates training programs.
Key Responsibilities- Manage user experience across the LMS and host office hours for other administrators.
- Assist in managing licenses to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Coordinate with other state agencies to assign quarterly mandatory training.
- Serve as subject‑matter expert, providing ongoing support vitaminas for LMS administrators.
- Collaborate with OIT and LMS support to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Assist the Performance Development Specialist with performance modules in HCM and future systems.
- Perform data management within the LMS.
- Build and assign live and asynchronous training.
- Manage the Learning Management System.
- Lead technology initiatives.
- Handle training management and facilitation.
- Professional development and other duties as assigned.
Minimum.archive of 3 years experience in LMS operations on the Cornerstone platform.
Experience Only- 2 years in a Technical Support role and 1 year in Backend administration (total 7 years).
- Combination of education in Computer Science, Education, Communications or Science plus 3 years LMS operations on Cornerstone. 2 years tech support and 1 year backend administration (total 7 years).
- Expert LMS system knowledge, especially in Cornerstone.
- Customer Service skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Problem‑solving and resourcefulness.
- Relevant years of state service considered a preferred qualifier.
- Standard background and reference checks required.
- State residency required at application and throughout employment.
- Motor‑vehicle check required.
- Valid Colorado Driver’s License or U.S. Driver’s License (within 30 miles of the Colorado border).
- Travel required to accommodate training and HR events.
- Former state employees with disciplinary termination must disclose and explain to remain eligible.
