Position SummaryThe Director of IT Infrastructure is a strategic leadership role responsible for ידי overseeing the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's entire IT infrastructure ecosystem. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that IT systems are reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives while supporting operational excellence and rapid organizational growth through M&A. The role oversees and drives relationships with third‑party vendors, with a particular focus on the IT Managed Service Provider (MSP).
The Director reports directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and serves as a key member of the technology leadership team.
- Implement strategic direction for the specific infrastructure capabilities: hosting, network, systems engineering, messaging and collaboration, and client devices.
- Create and maintain technology roadmaps to support scalability, modernization, and operational excellence.
- Perform IT due diligence and lead integration activities for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with enterprise standards.
- Manage the organization's Azure cloud environment, developing and executing a strategic roadmap to migrate on‑premises servers and workloads to Azure while ensuring secure, reliable, and cost‑effective operations across business units.
- Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of Microsoft 365 (M365) services, including Exchange Online, One Drive, Teams, SharePoint, and security/compliance features.
- Oversee Meraki network infrastructure (switches, wireless access points, firewalls) to ensure scalable and secure connectivity across all sites.
- Manage and optimize Cato Networks SASE platform for secure, cloud‑based networking and remote access.
- Provide oversight of Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools such as Ninja One, ensuring proactive monitoring, patching, and endpoint management.
- Supervise the implementation and maintenance of the company's computing needs through a coordinated effort with Managed Service Providers (MSPs), including technical management and performance oversight.
- Ensure reliable and secure operations of all ITekh infrastructure, including disaster recovery and annual testing.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure standards, documentation, and best practices in alignment with ITIL principles.
- Manage workload capacity, resources, and budgets effectively.
- Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across IT and business teams.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, effectively communicating technical strategies and operational updates.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure roles including 5+ years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven experience coordinating and technically managing Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
- Hands‑on expertise with Microsoft 365 (M365) administration and security.
- Management of network devices (Meraki network devices preferred).
- SASE platform (Cato Networks SASE platform preferred).
- RMM tools (Ninja One preferred).
- Strong understanding of data center operations, networks, storage, computer, and client‑level systems.
