What you'll be doing:
- Providing implementation and maintenance support for enterprise electronic voice communications networks.
- Designing scalable voice network solutions for clinical and campus environments.
- Assisting senior team members on complex projects, including Voice Network Management solutions, SoNet Ring implementations, new voice switch deployments, documentation, and disaster recovery planning/testing.
- Analyzing trunk/network utilization, traffic balancing, security violations, call accounting, project planning, IVR/ACD/call routing design, and technology implementation.
- Troubleshooting software and hardware issues related to voice network systems.
- Working with internal customers, vendors, and support personnel to ensure maximum network and equipment availability in a 24/7 environment.
- Providing overtime and on-call support as needed.
We want our people to succeed, so the following skills are required:
- Four years of technical experience with Nortel PBX /Key/Mer Mail/Meridian Max/Client systems and Cisco Call Manager, or six years of experience in Nortel/Client PBX management without a degree.
- Experience with Cisco Call Manager and VoIP systems.
- At least four years of call center experience.
- Proven ability to work with carriers, vendors, and manage costs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project, and Visio.
