OverviewWe are seeking an Intermediate Network Engineer to join our team and support field issue resolution. This role involves troubleshooting complex networking problems, collaborating with vendors, and working closely with internal teams to reproduce and resolve issues in a lab environment. You will play a key role in optimizing network infrastructure and ensuring high performance across enterprise networks. The position is hybrid;
you are expected to be on-site 4 days a week.
- Investigate and resolve issues on enterprise networks, including hardware and software components.
- Reproduce field issues in a lab environment for root‑cause analysis.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to develop solutions.
- Design and document network architecture.
- Assess existing technologies for performance and capacity gaps.
- Establish security, connectivity, and access parameters.
- Provide recommendations to optimize network infrastructure.
- Test and tune security devices and systems.
- Program routers and switches.
- Implement communications technologies (data and voice).
- Manage network services from planning through implementation.
- Strong knowledge of network engineering, routing protocols, and network infrastructure.
- Hands‑on experience with:
- Cisco routers and switches
- DOCSIS
- EPON
- RPHY
- iCMTS
- Background in networking within a large communications company or technology/service provider.
- Solid understanding of network hardware/software and security technologies.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 – $65.00/hr.
