What you'll be doing:
The UNIX Administrator operates in a fast-paced, technology-dependent, security-conscious environment. You will be responsible for maintaining a highly available environment, managing file structures, monitoring storage and system performance, supporting a large user community across multiple platforms and locations. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to prioritize projects in a dynamic setting.
QualificationsWe want our team members to succeed, so the following skills are required:
- 4+ years of experience with UNIX operating systems, including IBM AIX
- Hands-on experience managing IBM virtual I/O devices via VIOS using Ether Channel and NPIV
- Scripting skills for system administration
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience troubleshooting network connectivity in a secure environment
- Experience with enterprise systems management tools (HPSA, Puppet)
