Senior Product Manager – Agentic Commerce

Product Manager responsibilities include driving product vision, planning, and development to deliver on our human + digital product strategy. As a Product Manager, you will:
- Identify, analyze, and interpret business data using various techniques to meet business needs.
- Activate the connective tissue between U.S. Bank, customer experience, digital, technology, and business line strategy to identify and prioritize product opportunities.
- Define product outcomes, OKRs, features, and epics, and break down work into actionable steps for discovery, design, development, and delivery.
- Manage the end‑to‑end product lifecycle and drive the roadmap leveraging OKRs.
- Create the product in collaboration with agile, experience design, technology, and risk partners to achieve business and customer outcomes.
- For technical products, understand and manage technical features, debt reduction, and modernization, with expertise in the required technology.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will shape the vision and strategy for the emerging domain of Agentic Commerce
, leading the execution that brings agentic checkout and payment experiences to life. This role demands strategic thinking and hands‑on delivery.
- Define product strategy, vision, and roadmap for agentic purchase orchestration (discovery → selection → payment → fulfillment).
- Define and deliver MVPs/pilots for agent‑driven checkout and payment methods, then scale to production across multiple channels and partnerships.
- Conduct discovery sessions to identify high‑impact use cases and evolve business strategy.
- Define product requirements collaboratively with cross‑functional teams across payments, merchant onboarding, and merchant servicing.
- Collaborate with engineering to translate requirements into executable plans and deliver features on time.
- Evangelize product internally and externally, working closely with Marketing and Go‑to‑Market to craft narratives and drive usage.
- Product Management experience.
- Expertise in integrating product model system elements and leveraging metrics and KPIs to synchronize resources.
- Ability to anticipate shifting market priorities and customer needs.
- Strong customer centricity and techniques to ensure a positive product experience across touch points.
- Knowledge of technical aspects of software products and ability to design, configure, and integrate them.
- Agile knowledge, risk management processes, and tools to assess and control exposure to risks.
- Strong understanding of API architecture, SDKs, and integration frameworks.
- Knowledge of payment gateway technologies, PCI compliance, and security standards.
- Familiarity with multi‑agent orchestration frameworks or microservices architectures for commerce APIs.
- Deep understanding of agentic interaction protocols.
- Ability to lead cross‑functional teams, navigate dependencies, and influence senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
- Skilled in partner advocacy and representing technical solutions in strategic client conversations.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Deep knowledge of ISV ecosystems and integration best practices.
- Commerce/payments/marketplace/e‑commerce domain knowledge (checkout flows, payments, fraud/risk, fulfillment, UX).
