Base pay range

$65.00/hr - $75.00/hr

Position Summary
  • Create reusable, maintainable infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Cloud Formation, and AWS CDK.
  • Automate deployments, testing, and environment promotion across the full software development lifecycle.
  • Implement AWS best practices around tagging, monitoring, observability, and cost optimization.
  • Design, deploy, operate, and troubleshoot scalable microservices environments on Kubernetes, including EKS, Helm, CRDs, and service mesh technologies such as Istio, Linkerd, or Consul.
  • Build and maintain cloud-native CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git Lab, Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline, and related platforms.
  • Develop and support containerized workloads and modern distributed systems across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Architect, optimize, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provide technical guidance and architectural direction to development teams.
  • Lead Git workflows, branching strategies, Git Ops practices, and deployment governance.
Migration & Modernization
  • Support migrations from on-premises environments to AWS, including monolith-to-microservices transformations.
  • Execute migration plans, validate cloud readiness, and assist with decommissioning legacy systems.
Project Delivery & Collaboration
  • Participate in daily standups, design sessions, and technical reviews.
  • Communicate clearly across multiple teams and concurrent initiatives.
  • Demonstrate ownership, urgency, and a strong customer-service mindset.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7+ years of experience as a Dev Ops Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer supporting AWS environments.
  • Hands‑on experience running Kubernetes‑based microservices in production.
  • Strong scripting skills and proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
  • Deep understanding of AWS services, networking, security, and operations.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD tooling, infrastructure automation, containers, Linux, and Docker.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize work across multiple projects and stakeholders.
Nice to Have
  • Kubernetes certifications (e.g., CKA).
  • AWS Professional or Specialty certifications.
  • Service mesh experience (Istio, Linkerd).
  • Familiarity with static and dynamic code analysis tools (e.g., Sonar Qube, Selenium).
  • Advanced AWS networking expertise.
  • Contributions to open‑source projects.
  • Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or information systems.
