How would you like to be a part of Earth’s most customer‑centric company? You would work with teams of front‑line responders who support the operations of some of the world’s most innovative data centers. Our Data Center Engineering Operations team maintain and operate critical infrastructure systems so that they are prepared to stand up against any situation. AWS has the world’s largest cloud computing portfolio, and as an Amazonian you will work in some of the most sophisticated, safe, and secure data centers in the world.

Our Engineering Operations Technicians (EOT’s) help keep them that way by working with the brightest minds from around the globe to test and implement the newest technology and work practices to meet the demands of a changing market.

This equipment includes, but is not limited to, stand‑by diesel generators, switch gear, UPS’s, PDU’s, AHU’s, chillers, cooling towers, chemical treatment systems, pumps, motors, VFD’s, and building automation systems.

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.

  • Utilize internal CMMS to manage building workflows.
  • Communicate complex technical information to a non‑technical audience.
  • Fully comply with all physical security procedures and policies.
  • Respond to off‑hour emergency calls related to data centers and help investigate, mitigate, and recover the issue(s).
  • Lift up to 40 lbs and work in elevated locations.
  • Work in an environment that operates 24/7 with the ability to provide after‑hours support as needed.
  • Respond off hours to site events and emergency issues.
