Software Quality Assurance Tester

Job Title: Software QA Engineer – Desktop

About the Role:

We’re seeking a skilled and collaborative QA Engineer to join our client's Desktop team. You’ll test and verify desktop applications, ensuring high-quality 3D software experiences for users. This role involves manual testing, writing test plans, tracking defects, reproducing customer issues, and documenting fixes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manual testing of desktop applications
• Review design documents for testability and quality
• Write test plans and test cases
• Track defects and ensure product quality
• Reproduce issues reported by customers and beta testers
• Document tested fixes in release notes

Required Skills/

Experience:

• 3–5 years of software testing experience
• Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Self-sufficient, able to work with minimal guidance
• Experience on Windows or Mac platforms
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Bonus Skills/

Experience:

• Familiarity with 3D/2D modeling and visualization software
• Experience in Architectural or Civil Engineering
• Localization testing experience
