Description

• Lead and manage a growing offshore Dev Ops team, providing mentorship and strategic direction.
• Ensure system reliability, deployment velocity, and operational excellence.
• Coordinate key SRE metrics and manage on-call responsibilities.
• Collaborate with onshore teams to support current and next-generation platforms with Kubernetes.
• Exhibit strong leadership in estimating, maintaining, and deploying large-scale systems in a cloud environment.
• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, setting goals and crafting development plans.
• Communicate effectively with managers, team members, and collaborators, ensuring a clear understanding and alignment.

• Expertise in managing complex GCP and AWS solutions.
• Outstanding communication skills with an ability to distill complex technical concepts.
• Willingness to overlap with U.S. working hours as needed.
• Comfort with async updates and a documentation-first culture.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s or’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

• Embrace asynchronous written communication to foster deep and focused work.
• 5 years of experience managing multiple teams across regions with demonstrated project success.
• Proven track record to handle, mentor, and grow a team of engineers.
• 5 years of experience working with and leading offshore teams.
• Experience with handoff-based 24×7 operations across time zones.
• 3 years of experience crafting and reporting on meaningful metrics such as deployment frequency, MTTR/MTTA, SLO/SLI.
• Ability to detail and continuously refine Dev Ops processes.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end architecture with modern microservice-based architectures and pipelines.

Global Logic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed remotely and the salary range will be $120,000/yr to $130,000/yr and reflects base salary only. This pay range is provided as a good-faith estimate, and the amount offered may be higher or lower.
