A Denver-based law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment attorney to join its practice representing employers in all aspects of labor and employment matters. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of experience working with both union and non-union workplaces, supporting positive labor relations, providing advice and counseling, and defending litigation and administrative charges.
The role includes advising employers on traditional labor matters such as union negotiations, collective bargaining, grievances, and arbitration, as well as handling employment litigation and counseling. Candidates should have experience litigating claims involving discrimination and harassment, wage and hour issues, accessibility, and non-compete and confidentiality agreements.
Preferred experience includes advising clients on employment law compliance; policies and procedures; employment contracts; discipline and terminations; reductions in force; wage and hour audits; and conducting workplace investigations. Strong analytical and communication skills, along with excellent academic credentials, are required. Admission in good standing to the Colorado bar is also required.
The salary range for this position is $220,000–$270,000, representing a good-faith estimate of potential compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including relevant experience, qualifications, and location.
