Overview
The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment for clinical and non-clinical roles, ensuring high-quality hiring and exceptional candidate experience. This position partners directly with hiring managers and department leaders—including nursing, therapy, and other clinical and operational teams—to develop and execute strategic recruitment plans aligned with organizational goals. The Specialist maintains strong talent pipelines, utilizes advanced sourcing techniques, and leverages data-driven insights to support workforce planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
This role also supports HR operations and represents the organization at community events, job fairs, and professional conferences.

Responsibilities- Lead full-cycle recruitment from posting through onboarding, for clinical and non-clinical roles with a strong focus on nursing and therapy positions, ensuring an efficient and high-quality process from job posting through onboarding.
- Manage requisitions and applicant flow within the ATS; maintain accurate candidate records, generate reports, and identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and system enhancements.
- Support workforce planning by analyzing labor market data, salary benchmarks, and competitor activity to develop informed recruitment strategies and advise leadership.
- Strengthen candidate experience and employer brand through consistent messaging, improved touchpoints, and participation in digital recruitment marketing efforts.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job competencies, and department workflows; provide consultation on job design, market conditions, and sourcing strategies.
- Develop tailored recruiting and interviewing plans that promote equitable and compliant hiring practices aligned with organizational values.
- Screen and evaluate applicants for required qualifications, clinical competencies (when applicable), and cultural fit; conduct behavioral-based pre-screen interviews and assist with in-depth interviews for key clinical roles.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines by cultivating ongoing relationships with prospective candidates and engaging passive talent for future opportunities.
- Identify and leverage diverse sourcing channels, including digital platforms, professional groups, community partners, and nursing and therapy schools; recommend new methods to expand candidate reach.
- Represent the organization at job fairs, career days, academic programs, and professional conferences to promote opportunities and enhance brand presence.
- Oversee comprehensive candidate communication, including interview coordination, follow-up correspondence, reference checks, offer letters, new hire documentation, and orientation confirmations.
- Support HR Generalist functions such as onboarding, orientation activities, and record management during periods of high volume or organizational need.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and healthcare hiring requirements, including licensure verification, background checks, and documentation standards.
- Maintain productive partnerships with nursing, therapy, and clinical leadership teams, providing updates and solutions to meet evolving staffing goals.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by evaluating workflows, enhancing candidate engagement strategies, and implementing best practices in talent acquisition.
- Monitor key recruitment metrics—including time-to-fill, pipeline health, and quality-of-hire—and provide data-driven insights to leadership.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service in all interactions with candidates, employees, students, hiring managers, and external partners.
