Labor & Employment Attorney role at Cozen O'Connor’s Denver office seeks an experienced attorney to represent employers across all aspects of labor and employment work.
Candidates should bring 5‑10 years of experience with both union and non‑union workplaces, supporting positive labor relations, providing strategic counseling, and defending litigation and administrative charges. Responsibilities include advising employers on traditional labor matters such as union negotiations, collective bargaining, grievance, and arbitration issues, as well as handling employment litigation and counseling.
Candidates will have litigated claims involving discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, accessibility, non‑compete, and confidentiality agreements. Experience advising clients on employment law compliance, policies, contracts, discipline, terminations, reductions in force, wage and hour audits, and conducting workplace investigations is preferred. Strong analytical and communication skills and excellent academic credentials are required. A license in good standing in Colorado is also required.
Salary range: $220,000 – $270,000, based on experience and qualifications.
