Westmont Hospitality Group is seeking a highly accomplished, dynamic, and results-driven General Manager to join our executive leadership team at the 210-suite Embassy Suites Denver Central Park. Conveniently located off I-70, the hotel is within one mile of The Shops at Northfield, near Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, and approximately 15 miles from Denver International Airport.

The General Manager has full responsibility for the overall performance of the hotel, including operations, sales, financial results, guest satisfaction, and asset stewardship. This role provides strategic and hands‑on leadership to ensure operational excellence, strong financial performance, and an exceptional guest and associate experience.

Position Summary

The General Manager directs and coordinates all hotel activities and resources to achieve established objectives and financial goals. This leader is responsible for building and motivating a high‑performing team, maintaining brand standards, and maximizing the long‑term value of the asset.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 5–9 years of proven General Manager experience in a full‑service hotel environment
  • Strong background in sales and revenue management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic leadership, communication, training, team development, and mentoring
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls
  • A track record of exceeding guest expectations, driving revenue growth, and achieving financial objectives
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight of all hotel operations, including front office, sales, housekeeping, food & beverage, human resources, engineering, accounting, and staff development
  • Assume full accountability for the hotel’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, yield and revenue management, and achievement of financial goals
  • Manage all revenue streams while maintaining cost controls, quality standards, profitability, and employee retention
  • Develop and execute comprehensive business plans, including sales and marketing strategies
  • Maintain active involvement in food & beverage operations
  • Participate in sales initiatives, including sales calls, client engagement, and site inspections to maintain and grow market share
  • Foster strong relationships with associates, guests, and clients to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and employee engagement
  • Represent the hotel within appropriate hospitality, tourism, and business associations
  • Engage in community involvement to promote a positive public image for the hotel
  • Implement, maintain, and promote all Westmont Hospitality Group policies and procedures
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and maintain continuous awareness of performance against budget
  • Oversee day‑to‑day operations, including daily property inspections to ensure cleanliness, service quality, cost controls, and overall asset condition
  • Manage purchasing and inventory controls
  • Recruit, supervise, coach, and evaluate direct reports
  • Protect the hotel and its assets by enforcing preventive maintenance programs that ensure guest and associate safety, regulatory compliance, and brand standards
