Health Trust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Denver, Colorado.

  • Day Shift – 1 Charge Nurse with no patient assignment, 6-8 nurses
  • Night Shift - same
  • Patient Ratios – 2:1 ICU standard nurse to patient ration, unless the pt is step down status then 3:1 or very high acuity, then 1:1
• Type of equipment – Hospira IV pumps
• EMR
  -Meditech
• Typical Procedures:
  • Intubation, central line insertion
  • Bronchoscopy, endoscopy

Must Haves:

- An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred - A recent 12 months of ICU RN experience in an acute inpatient hospital setting - Vasopressor IV drip titration, ventilator management - Care of Sepsis, arrhythmias, med/surg critical care patients - CO RN License - BLS, ACLS, and NIH Certifications Preferred or Nice to Have:

- Cardiac Experience / CRRT - Medi Tech Experience - Travel Experience
