PositionPatient Service Technician – Local Delivery Driver
Drive with purpose. Deliver care. Make a difference. In this role, you’ll deliver and set up respiratory and durable medical equipment for patients in your local community, providing hands-on support and education that matters.
In the State of CO this position pays between $22.97/hr – $24/hr depending on related experience plus bonus opportunity. Shift is Monday - Friday 12pm - 9pm with on-call.
Responsibilities- Available for on-call assignments as needed (after business hours and/or weekends).
- Drive local routes to deliver and set up medical equipment in patients’ homes.
- Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and maintenance of respiratory and home medical equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper function and patient safety.
- Complete delivery documentation and patient visit reports accurately and on time.
- Keep your assigned company vehicle clean, safe, and ready for service.
- Respond to urgent equipment needs and participate in on-call rotations.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Employment is contingent on:
- Background check (company-wide) with individualized assessment per applicable laws.
- Drug screen (when applicable for the position).
- Compliance with healthcare facility credentialing process (when applicable).
- Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable).
Required Education And/or Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
Preferred Education And/or Experience
- Experience with medical equipment, preferred.
- One year of related work experience, preferred.
- Medical terminology, preferred.
- Accurately perform simple mathematical calculations
- Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written
- Interpret a variety of communications (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening, and visual)
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
- Multi-task with attention to detail
- Self-motivation, organization, time-management, and deductive problem solving
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Email transmission and communication
- Internet navigation and research
- Microsoft applications:
Outlook, Word, Excel - Office equipment: fax, copier, printer, phone, computer/tablet
- Mechanically inclined for repair and troubleshooting of equipment
- Proper loading, unloading, and tie-down procedures as per company policy
- Understanding of applicable home respiratory equipment and supplies
- Lift and carry office equipment as needed
- Sitting, walking, standing, talking, listening
- Close vision for small print on computer, tablet, and paperwork
- Ability to lift and transport patient equipment (minimum 65 pounds)
- Potential exposure to contagious pathogens and patient contact
- Driving a company vehicle for the majority of the workday
- Compliance with Rotech Respiratory Protection & N95 Mask Fit Testing Policy
- Medical evaluation and fit testing compliance and annual recertification
- Keep face clean-shaven to ensure N95 mask seal per OSHA guidelines
