RoleSummary
The Practice Manager is the operational leader of their local clinic – responsible for setting the culture for excellence in patient care and experience, ensuring the effective daily clinical operations, and driving operational alignment with Medical Directors and providers. The Practice Manager is on-site and engaged with the local team, offering guidance and support, mentorship, and ensuring staff have the tools and resources needed to deliver a world-class patient experience.
They partner with a robust shared services team including facilities, IT, HR, finance, and marketing to keep the clinic operating smoothly. The Practice Manager directly manages local clinical leads and administrative practice support roles.
- Oversee non-clinical (front desk and administrative staff), clinical and day-to-day operations of the clinic including oversight of the nursing team, patient navigators, and medical assistants
- Create a best-in-class patient-centered experience
- Address patient concerns and escalations and resolve in a timely and thoughtful manner
- Manage vendor and business associate contracts at the center level including biohazard, scrubs, cleaning services, maintenance, and regulatory visits
- Coordinate daily nursing, patient navigator, medical assistant and front desk schedules, PTO and timecard approval
- Oversee provider schedules and templates to maximize the patient experience, ensure productive provider scheduling, and ensure billing and regulatory compliance
- Hire, coach and develop employees; conduct regular training, coaching, and performance reviews
- Collaborate with medical directors and providers within practice operations
- Monitor and trend KPIs within practice operations
- Develop, implement, and coordinate training programs with applicable departments
- Develop and monitor corrective action strategies and action plans
- Oversee site-level P&L and budget
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS)
- Healthcare and/or hospitality experience a plus
- Minimum three (3) years of management experience
- Direct experience leading large multi-role teams
- Proven success partnering with Medical Directors and Physicians at the practice level (preferred)
This is a full-time exempt position onsite
CompensationThe salary range for this role is $80,000-$130,000 annually. This role is eligible for an annual bonus. Salary is based on factors including job-related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees.
