Job Summary

The Bilingual Pediatric Medical Assistant will work collaboratively with our exceptional pediatric team, serving patients from infancy through young adulthood (ages 0-25). The role requires flexibility to support both pediatric clinic locations. The candidate will demonstrate cultural sensitivity and a strong commitment to supporting patients with limited access to economic and healthcare resources, both in-person and remotely via phone or Tele-Health platforms such as Zoom.

Daily responsibilities include bilingual communication (Spanish and English), translating clinical terminology for patients and colleagues, and performing courteous patient check-in procedures using both in-person and virtual technologies. The MA will adhere to CDC guidelines during flu seasons and pandemics and maintain strict compliance with university and professional standards. Engagement with community partners—including public health agencies, specialty providers, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities—is expected.

Participation in regular team huddles, meetings, and staff development sessions is required. The position also encourages ongoing professional growth through CU’s robust learning and development resources.
