Pay Range: $19.50 – $22.00

Schedules:
Sunday – Thursday, 11am – 6pm

Job Summary
Assist in developing the resident activity programs of the community. Conduct activities in accordance with direction from the Life Enrichment Coordinator. Delegated responsibility for carrying out assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policies.

- Assist in organizing programs for Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care residents.
- Maintain a balance of recreational activities.
- Facilitate group activities, 1‑1 visits, community events that engage residents, families and staff.
- Coordinate scheduled activities with other departments.
- Communicate residents’ programs to residents, families, volunteers, and staff.
- Prepare vibrant person‑centered monthly Life Enrichment calendars reflecting residents’ interests, preferences, and abilities.
- Organize activity supplies and equipment to ensure materials are available.
- Prepare monthly report on activity program progress as directed.
- Invite and assist residents within the community to and from activities.
- Participate in trainings as requested.
- Recognize resident condition changes that may require nursing intervention and report to the Wellness Director.
- Maintain professional appearance, communication, and confidentiality.
- Supervise volunteers as necessary.
- Assist residents on outings, which may include driving company vehicles.

Minimum high school diploma or GED. - Experience:
Minimum 6 months preferred. - Job Knowledge:
Awareness of special needs and wellness for older adults; skills to engage residents with different interests and abilities; sensitivity to residents’ feelings; ability to initiate and lead crafts, games, discussions; resourcefulness; computer skills. - Other:
Enjoy working with senior adults, exercise judgment, display empathy, creativity, imagination, friendliness, resourcefulness, enthusiasm, caring attitude, sincere interest in others; must have a clean driving record. - Team members scheduled to work 24+ hours per week are eligible for benefits; families are also eligible.
