Position Title:

Salary:
- Level 1 (Entry level up to 2 years of direct experience): $23.11 per hour
- Level II (3+ years of direct experience): $25.19 per hour
- Bilingual premium for qualifying languages is 3.5% higher than starting salary if pass bilingual exam on first week of hire.

It is an essential function and business necessity of the job that all employees are vaccinated and that all new hires will be required to be vaccinated within four weeks of hire. CHN requires proof of vaccination as this is a business necessity of the job. CHN will discuss reasonable exemptions for medical and religious purposes. EssentialJob Functions
- Engage in mobile outreach services within the Denver metro area, targeting communities requiring harm reduction services.
- Develop and facilitate educational presentations in the community regarding NARCAN®/Naloxone use, safe injection practices, drug checking, and other harm reduction best practices. Trainings include individual and group‑level interventions for people who use (inject) drugs (PWUD/PWID), law enforcement, first responders, treatment/health care providers, and other stakeholders as relevant to overdose prevention practices.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with CHN managers and staff to manage workflow, implement programmatic changes and updates, and address incidents.
- Assist the Program Manager in preparing reports to meet grant reporting requirements.
- Ensure an adequate supply level is maintained to support program needs effectively.
- Provide in‑person support during the operation of the syringe access program, including safe disposal, distribution of safer injection/snorting/smoking supplies, PWUD/PWID education, data entry, and client registration.
- Administer HIV/HCV/STI testing and individualized risk reduction counseling services to PWUD, people living with HIV, LGBTQ+ community members, people experiencing or at risk for homelessness, and other populations.
- Develop and maintain a referral network of PWUD/PWID support and prevention services and provide linkage to care (LTC) as needed.
