E. Colfax, Denver, CO 80206.

Base pay range: $19.00/hr – $20.00/hr for Certified Peer Specialist position: $18 – $20/hr plus shift differential. Bonus at 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year.

Full‑time:
Tuesday – Friday 8:00 pm to 6:30 am (½ hour meal break). Non‑traditional hours may incur shift differential.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provides peer counseling and support, drawing on common experiences to validate patients’ experiences and to provide guidance and encouragement.
  • Welcomes and provides engagement and orientation to incoming patients, including review of overall program philosophy and operations.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all patients’ information and ensures confidentiality of sensitive data.
  • Supports a computer‑focused position requiring proficiency in multiple databases, including EMR, Central Registry, and Medical Billing systems; intermediate to expert abilities in Google Workspace.
  • Answering phones, forwarding calls, taking messages as needed.
  • Responding to phone and in‑person inquiries about intake and transfer procedures.
  • Distributing office correspondence/faxes to the appropriate staff.
  • Checking in patients / facilitating the intake process.
  • Collecting patient fees, entering and discharging patients through Central Registry.
  • Maintaining appropriate boundaries in all contact with patients.
  • Performing other duties as assigned, including occasional light physical work up to 20 pounds.
  • Attending and participating in formal and informal staff meetings; addressing patients and program issues.
  • Maintaining a work environment marked by respect, inclusiveness, and teamwork.
Qualifications
  • Peer Certification required.
  • Full‑time availability during specified hours.
  • Strong customer service skills and attention to accuracy.
  • Proficiency with EMR, Central Registry, and Medical Billing systems.
  • Intermediate to expert proficiency with Google Workspace.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold professional boundaries.
