Occupational Health Athletic Trainer needed for a full‑time temp contract opportunity with Yoh’s well‑known client located in Denver, CO
. Anticipating to start January 2, 2026 and proceed for 6‑8 weeks (max 12).

This job is located at a medical clinic at a manufacturing company. They offer occupational, primary, and preventative care for employees. You'll work alongside a Physician Assistant to provide injury prevention, case management, evaluation, treatment, general wellness, and health promotion.

Shifts needed: Monday‑Thursday 7:45 am – 3:45 pm and Friday 6:00 am – 2:00 pm.

Top Skills You Should Possess
  • Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Athletic Trainer preferred
  • Prior occupational health experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively teach, counsel, and educate employees on topics related to healthy living
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Assist in prevention and treatment of work‑related injuries, ergonomics coaching, job site evaluations, health promotion, general wellness, and fitness program promotion
  • Case management and counseling of the patient population
  • Communicate regularly with the onsite provider regarding patient rehabilitation and employee injury prevention activities
  • Conduct ergonomic assessments and recommend adjustments to the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team to reduce the risk of injuries; attend Safety meetings
  • Lead educational initiatives surrounding injury prevention, well‑being, and other topics
  • Assist and participate in the work comp process (return‑to‑work programs)
  • Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms and reports
What You Need to Bring to the Table
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training from an accredited program
  • Licensure with the State of Colorado as an Athletic Trainer
  • Certified by the Board of Certification (BOC)
  • BLS certified
  • Annual Flu shot preferred
  • Passionate about promoting health and wellbeing in the workplace
