The Regional VP, Operations collects, analyzes, and reports on various market data to connect financial outcomes with operational effectiveness. The Regional VP, Operations requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across segments and/or enterprise-wide.

The Regional Vice President, Operations, will provide leadership and direction in the areas of financial planning and operations to a team of 21 associates and 4 direct reports. You will provide fiscal oversight of the 6 states in the Pacific Southwest region for senior products. You will provide direct support to this team, managing the annual budget, financial planning and projections, risk management, and operational reporting while working with value-based providers, physicians, IPAs, and MSO leadership.

The role interfaces regularly with regional, divisional, and corporate leaders.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • Progressive leadership experience in a finance role
  • At least 5 years of finance experience in the health solutions industry
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate in a positive manner
  • Progressive management and leadership experience with associates in multiple locations
  • Willingness to travel a minimum of 20%
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the Pacific Southwest regional markets and key Humana providers
  • Experience working with physician groups, provider contracting, market operations, and Medicare Risk Adjustment and Stars/Quality functions
  • Knowledge and Experience working with delegated value‑based relationships in California markets
  • Understanding of SQL
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Familiarity or experience with CMS bid mechanics and Humana bid tools

You will have direct/indirect reports, and you will report to the Regional President.

Pay Range

$223,700 - $307,800 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
