Position: Local Contract Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $54-55 per hour

• Type of staff:
- Day Shift – 4 Day RN’s/ 1 Charge/ 2 mid-shift RN’s/ 1 mid shift Unit Clerk/ 1 EMT
- Night Shift – 4 Night RN/ 1 night EMT/ 1 night charge

• Patient Ratios – 4:1 (5:1 during surge)

• Type of equipment – Philips monitors

• EMR - Meditech

• Typical Procedures:
Port access/ IV start/ Venipuncture/ nasal wash/ point of care testing (trop/ lactic acid/ urine dip)/ EKG/ Foley placement

Must Haves:
- An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred
- A recent 12 months of ED RN experience in an acute hospital setting
- Peds ED Experience
- CO RN License
- ACLS, BLS, CPI, ENPC, NIH, PALS, and TNCC Certifications

Preferred or Nice to Have:
- CEN
- CPEN/ US IV competency
- Medi Tech Experience
- Travel Experience
